In this class, learners will be given guided practice problems to add and subtract mixed numbers. This should not be the learner's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Learners will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Strategies such as using visuals and multiplication conversion to create equivalent fractions will be demonstrated as needed. Learners should have a good knowledge of multiplication and basic fraction knowledge before attending this class. Please schedule carefully, as missed classes will not be rescheduled or refunded.
