🌟Enroll at any time🌟 Taught by certified educators, this is a full curriculum that will cover the 2nd-grade common core standards. This is a great way for your student to meet friends and have a consistent teacher and fellow classmates throughout the year. Learners who subscribe to part 1 receive a 10% discount towards part 2. Part 2 subscribers receive a 15% discount towards part 3. Learners who have subscribed for three consecutive parts receive a 20% discount towards part 4. ⭐Friday sessions allow for small group and individual tutoring sessions. ⭐Homework feedback will be comprehensive and detailed. Students will be expected to come to class Monday-Thursday and will have optional and individual help on Fridays. Students will be given homework Monday-Thursday for each subject. The homework will not be due until the next lesson of that subject is taught. For example, Monday's math homework will be due Thursday and Langauge Arts homework will be due the following Tuesday. Homework should take no more than 10-15 minutes each day. Study hall and individual help is offered each Friday. Weekly packets will be posted every Friday. These will be used for the following week. It is recommended that these are printed out in order for students to complete the daily classwork. The weekly schedule will include the following with brain breaks integrated throughout each day: Monday: -Morning Meeting: 10 minutes -Reading/Writing 30 minutes *Students will focus on fables and short stories for part 1. Letters, numbers, and writing will be practiced every Monday. Tuesday: -Math Talk-10 minutes -Math Lesson: 30 minutes Wednesday: -Science: 20 minutes -Social Studies: 20 minutes Thursday: -Reading: 20 minutes -Art: 20 minutes (Part 1 Elective) -Electives change with each quarter/semester. Friday: -Teacher Officer Hours for individual help, questions, or study hall. Students will turn in assignments through the Outschool Classroom. They will be given grades/feedback for each assignment along with individual and in-depth report cards after each semester.

Welcome to Seed and Stem Learning Center by Bailey Nelson and Kenneth Kirk!
As a prior public school teacher, Bailey experienced the positive difference that scientific inquiry can have on students. Kenneth, who received his Bachelor's of Business Degree in Economics, found a passion in educating young students the improtance of financial literacy and business education. Bailey and Ken used this inspiration to create a program that allows students to connect across the globe through quality and inclusive education.
Although students take classes virtually, they will be inspired through hands-on and real-world applications and problems. Through our engaging courses, students will develop (or enhance) their love of all subjects by connecting to real-life applications and problems.
Teachers and tutors are all vetted through a rigorous process that focuses on scientific inquiry, problem-based learning, and hands-on pedagogy. Teachers come from a variety of backgrounds including education, economics, engineering, and computer science.
Course Policies:
*Students must provide a camera check at the beginning of class to ensure safety for all learners unless verified by Outschool.
*Ongoing classes are charged on a weekly basis. Prorated refunds based on days attended during the week will not be provided. All class recordings and materials are provided if your learner misses class.
