These sessions can be customized based on the needs of your learner.  A "pre-tutoring assessment" can take place or you can send me the goals they need to work on.  The structure of the class will fluctuate slightly based on the topics we need but in general, I am a casual, discussion-based teacher.  I give examples, support as needed, and love to play games, I do not lecture.  I also love to incorporate high-interest areas and personal learning styles.  It is best if the student takes the class in a quiet environment so they can remain unmuted for full participation.  

Semester-long tutoring courses can also include checking homework and creating customized lessons for additional instruction and practice where needed.  Sessions can be for math, reading, writing, spelling, study skills, ESL, or multiple subjects.  The age range is set as 5-10 because Outschool only allows a 5 year age range.  If you have a child outside of these ages that needs tutoring please contact me to confirm that they can be signed up for these sessions.  

The length of sessions, the number of sessions in a package, and meetings per week can all be customized to fit your individual needs.  Also, if your child has friends/classmates that want to do small group sessions (on the same goals), I can create group lessons to accommodate that.
