In this class, we will cover key topics in consumer and business math, aiding the development of our financial literacy. The course will cover fundamental mathematical concepts relevant to various business topics.

- Understand the basics of loans, interest and mortgages 
- Basics of investments 
- Basics of small businesses and entrepreneurships

PREREQUISITIES

This class will be most suitable for students interested in improving their financial literacy and understanding about consumer/business math and finance. Basic math knowledge is assumed throughout the course such as addition, multiplication, division, and subtraction.

EXPERIENCE

I am a Chartered Accountant (CA) with over 6 years' professional experience. I am an exam market for a professional accountancy body and formerly a lecturer at the University of Strathclyde where I taught finance to over 240 undergraduate students. I have been teaching math and business for over a decade to homeschool students.
