***1-on-1 tutoring***

This class is for students who need extra support in the skill area of their choice or want to extend their learning into new areas. I will work with you to find ways to help you achieve your goals. I'll teach a skill, you will have the opportunity to practice, and we'll find a fun activity to practice that skill. You may ask questions and I will do my best to help you feel more confident.  

Here are some skills we can work on during our time together:
**Math - addition, subtraction, place value, multiplication, division, fractions, geometry, area and perimeter
**English Language Arts - phonemic awareness activities, phonics,  reading comprehension skills, fluency, writing (informational, opinion, or narrative), grammar, spelling and word work 

I ask parents to please message me 24 hrs in advance  if possible in order to allow me time to adequately plan lessons and gather required materials.  I can also give a brief assessment, as desired, to zero in on skills needing reinforcement.
