For this course, the main objective is to review and practice foundational skills that will be needed for high-school level Geometry. The learner should have just finished either Algebra 1 and is scheduled to take high school Geometry in the next school year. The 1:1 format allows me to spend less time on skills the learner has already mastered and maintained, and more time on concepts that the learner needs more instruction and/or practice with. Below is a list of concepts we can go over in this class. The more meetings we have, the more concepts we will be able to cover.

•Identifying lines, line segments, rays, angles, parallel lines, and perpendicular lines
•Finding measures of angles
•Transversals of parallel lines
•Interior and exterior angles of triangles
•Area and perimeter of polygons and circles
•Surface area and volume of three-dimensional figures
•Similar figures
