I design systematic lessons to teach decoding skills, integrating a variety of effective teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of your young readers. Phonics instruction forms the foundation, enabling students to understand the relationships between letters and sounds. - Students will develop essential reading skills, including phonics and decoding, to enhance their proficiency in English. Throughout the sessions, I will actively engage the student, asking questions to ensure understanding and promote interactive learning. Through personalized sessions, they will learn how to read effectively, strengthen their phonics understanding, and improve overall English language skills.
With over 8 years of teaching experience, I have taught students from foundation stage (Kindergarten) up to Year 6 (Fifth grade). Currently, I'm working in a primary school in Year 2 (First grade). After I achieved my TEFL certificate, I taught in Fifth grade, where I was able to provide effective and engaging language instruction and I've had the pleasure of teaching English to young learners from diverse backgrounds.
