This course is tailored for individuals who want to explore the joy of playing piano, from beginners to those looking to advance their skills.
In these personalized one-on-one piano sessions, students will embark on a musical journey customized to their unique talents and aspirations. The primary aim of this course is to guide students in mastering the essentials of piano playing, including note reading, technique, rhythm, expression, and music theory.
Course materials will be selected based on the student's current proficiency level as well as interest, ensuring a comfortable and engaging learning experience. Some of the resources we may use include but are certainly not limited to:
Faber and Faber (for beginners)
A Dozen a Day Series (for technical exercises)
Easy Piano Classics (for exploring a variety of musical styles)
The course structure is designed to offer individualized instruction and personal attention. Each session will be thoughtfully crafted to address the unique needs and objectives of the student. Whether you're dreaming of playing your favorite pop tunes or mastering the intricacies of classical music, this course will set you on the path to achieving your musical goals.Metas de aprendizaje
Students will learn how to read/write music notation, the foundation for healthy piano technique, efficient practice habits, rhythm, ear training, musicianship, performance, etc.

The Student must have a piano or keyboard to practice on. Materials will be assigned after the first class based on student ability and interest. A book of staff paper will also be recommended after the first lesson. Sample Materials: Faber Piano Adventures John Thompson Piano Series Bastien Piano Series Additional materials based on student interest such as Classical repertoire, Jazz, Disney, etc.
