My personalised 1:1 Verbal Reasoning classes are designed specifically for 11+ students in the United Kingdom, aiming to enhance their verbal reasoning skills and improve their chances of success in the challenging entrance exams. These individualised sessions allow students to receive focused attention, personalised instruction, and targeted practice to excel in this crucial aspect of their academic journey.

My 1:1 classes are built around the needs of each student. Each lesson has starter based on a topic we have recently looked at and includes lots of opportunities to practise exam style questions and vocabulary building activities. Lessons are changed as I am teaching through specific questioning and challenge questions. Students are encouraged to read out loud and express their opinions orally and in writing with immediate and specific feedback and follow up tasks provided. When new language is used, students are provided explanations and examples to facilitate their understanding. By working through a variety of questions, students can strengthen their logical thinking, critical reasoning, and problem-solving skills within the context of verbal reasoning.

The content is adjusted based on the student's current skill level, gradually progressing from foundational concepts to advanced techniques.

I closely monitor the student's development, identify areas of improvement, and provide constructive feedback to optimise their performance.
