In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to practice skills and concepts with fractions and mixed numbers typically taught in sixth grade. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Learners can also bring homework or assignments from school or other classes that involve fractions and mixed numbers to work on together.

Concepts and skills can include any of the following:
•Adding Fractions and Mixed Numbers
•Subtracting Fractions and Mixed Numbers
•Multiplying Fractions and Mixed Numbers
•Dividing Fractions and Mixed Numbers
•Word Problems with Fractions and Mixed Numbers
•Evaluation Expressions Using Order of Operations with Fractions and Mixed Numbers
