Students will plan, draft, edit, revise, and submit a final draft of a 5-paragraph essay. After submitting the essay, students will receive feedback based on a rubric and self-editing checklist provided by the teacher.

Detalles: After all 5 lessons, students will have the opportunity to plan, draft, revise, and edit a 5-paragraph essay on a topic of their choice. They may submit this to the teacher for feedback. An essay writing organizer, revising/editing checklist, and rubric will be provided for students. The teacher will use the rubric and checklist as the basis for providing feedback.
