Tutor de literatura inglesa individual

Is your learner struggling through Shakespeare or maybe needing some support in crafting a clear thesis statement for the ten page essay due at the end of the semester? I am here to help!  In these ongoing, 1 on 1 tutoring sessions, I will provide support for your learner unique to the current challenges they are facing in any literature and/or writing class.

Ideally, at least 24 hours in advance of class time, parents or learners can provide pertinent questions, topics to be covered, passages to be reviewed, essays that require editing etc. This will ensure the most productive use of class time. 

Some topics I have reviewed with learners before include:

Critical reading and analysis of challenging passages of literature
Picking out and using literary devices to craft a critical essay
SAT/AP practice tests
AP essay question response
General editing/feedback on papers

While I lean towards hands on, discussion based learning I can absolutely provide lecture style refreshers for students who need that style of teaching in their tutoring session. I am here to support your learner in whatever ways will help them grow their reading/writing/test taking skills!
