Problem-solving is crucial in math! One of the biggest challenges in math is reading, understanding and solving a word problem. First, you have to be able to read the problem. Next, decide what operations are being used, and finally complete the correct math to get the correct solution. This class is for students who know their basic facts in all 4 operations. In this 30-minute class, we will be solving 1-step and 2-step word problems using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. We will practice coding the text and understanding what the question is asking and by the end, you will be a problem-solving wiz!
