Students are encouraged to come to class with an idea for a character based on their favorite animal.

Class Experience

In this class, students will learn through hands-on demonstration and interaction with the teacher to develop a book character and then paint their own creation using techniques used by Crystal Paulson in her own illustrations including watercolor and sharpies. Students will learn about creating an illustrated character through interaction with instructor. Students are encouraged to ask questions and engage with the whole class. Recording will be made available after class for students to review and practice what they have learned.
