Students will learn about the Free Press clause of the First Amendment and then apply their knowledge to a case.
Class experience
Students will get the opportunity to act as Justices of the Supreme Court to determine a case based on the First Amendment's Free Press clause. Students will learn about what is considered a free press in the United States. They will also understand the parameters set by the court to determine whether or not there has been a violation of free press.
