Writing for Cat-Lovers: 'Creative Cat' Descriptive/Informational Paragraph
In this one-time cat-themed class, learners will use their imaginations to create a cat character and learn about, plan and write a descriptive paragraph about that character. This creative approach makes paragraph writing fun.

Class Experience
Students will learn about descriptive paragraphs and writing style. They will also write a paragraph about their own created cat character.
I am a certified English teacher and have taught in a classroom for 20 years. I owned cats until I developed allergies and now just love them from afar!
There is no homework assigned for this class. Students can send me their paragraphs for feedback and/or write a good copy of their paragraph if they would like.
I will provide verbal feedback during the class and am happy to provide feedback for students who would like to send me their paragraphs.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
