In this course, students will learn java tools, variables, data types, operators, program input, conditions and more. First, the concepts are explained, followed by coding examples. Students will get a chance to execute the code as well. They will be challenged with additional exercises to deepen their knowledge. Will finish off with some fun projects so students are ready to continue their coding journey. Students need a laptop and internet connection. NO ipads and tablets. Students should have a Gmail account. The break-up of the syllabus in the course will be: Class 1: Java tools, setup, and various options available. Rules of programming in general. I have a Master's Degree in Computer Science. I worked in many IT companies. I have been teaching computer programming and math for over 4 years to kids from k-12. I also own a tutoring company called Genius Coders Academy.
My teaching philosophy is to put students first - I go at their pace but also challenge them so they can learn something new and raise their bar. I also level-up my courses so learning is like climbing stairs as I strongly believe that a strong foundation is a must for any kind of learning and to be successful. I love teaching. It's my passion. It brings me so much joy and a job well done - wow moment when I see a child feels accomplished.
