I spent nearly two decades directing and editing hand-drawn animations and documentary films made with 16mm, 35mm, and video. An incredible amount of time went into these projects, often spanning many years. Film editing was done frame by frame - something that could drive Type-A personalities like myself to madness. Now as a painter and jigsaw puzzle designer I've learned how a lot about the neurology of perfection and how to best harness our neurochemistry. As an illustrator, cartoonist and jigsaw puzzle designer I also rely on my own iterative process to search and refine my ideas.
I will provide oral instructions and will follow up with an emailed lesson plan. Students will need to have a pencil, a black pen (like a Flair), and 5 x 7 index cards on hand. Cost should be under $10
