Join us for a trip into the animal kingdom with this fun Human Being and Animal World course that uses Waldorf teaching methods to introduce the student to the world of animals, including the human being.
Class experience
US Grade 4 - 7
Typically taught in class 4 or 5, this Human Being and Animal World block is based on Waldorf methods and includes hands-on learning and concepts typically used in Waldorf education. We will study animals and how they relate to the systems of the human body. In this study, animals are compared to the head, trunk, and limbs of the human being as described by Waldorf founder Rudolf Steiner. This class will meet twice a week for 6 weeks.
