In this one-time class, students will use sensors and Python to navigate the VR robot to crack the challenge. They will learn about programming and robotics, and use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to solve the challenges.

Description

Class Experience

By the end of this lesson, the students will describe the correct sequence of Python commands needed to complete the movement task. They will also have a basic comprehension of what robots are and can identify the key components of a robot drive system. 
I have a Bachelor's degree in  Electronic Engineering and acquired  Microsoft Innovative Educator Certification and CS with VEXcode VR Certifications. I am proficient in many programming languages and  EdTech such as Python, Java, VEXCode VR, Scratch 3.0,  Micro: bit, Visual Robotics, and Raspberry Pi.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
VEXCode VR (Virtual Robot) is a web-based platform that helps students learn computer science and robotics. it runs in a browser. No download is required. 
VEXCode VR is free, and no sign in account is required. It works on Windows, Mac, Chromebook, iPad and Android. No prior knowledge of programming is required.
