What You Should Expect Game Chat is here to allow students a chance to socialize and interact about topics that they find interesting. We'll talk about video games, gamer culture, game development, and relevant industry news. Exchanging YouTube channels, Twitch handles, or Epic names between students are welcome. The learning goal from this club is to give students something to look forward to that can be social while still letting them learn something about game development, the games industry, YouTube content creation, and even video game streaming as it comes up.
I have been a gamer for most of my life, and it was partly from the desire to expand my gaming that I built my first computer when I was 12 and never really looked back. I have been highly immersed in technology and how computers work during my 20 years as a video editor. I find great joy in explaining complicated things to my boys as they grow up in our technologically saturated culture.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
