In this ongoing class, we will learn more about the 3D printing process from creating a design all the way to printing it on your printer (if you have one).

3D printing has come a long way, and changes on a daily basis. Let's learn more about the general process of 3D printing and how to make your learner's design dreams a reality. In each class, we will discuss how to take a digital file created in a CAD program, such as Tinkercad, and turn it into a 3D print. I am also happy to teach Tinkercad if your child does not know it yet. It is a fun and easy program to learn. : ) We will keep discussions general, or we can talk more specifically if you have your own 3D printer (I am not an expert on all 3D printers, but I can help as much as possible as many of the initial and printing procedures are the same for all printers.) We can work with your slicer software as well. I will also give suggestions on where to get your files printed if you do not have a 3D printer. Each class will be educational and fun as your learner gains insight into this valuable skill that is needed for the future. See you soon!
