In this special, one time class, students will take on a surprising enemy in a D&D one shot where they will be tested in regards to their characters' skills, strengths, and words as they will face a purely evil character.
Class experience
At the beginning of this session, we will decide which player character will become our "enemy" for this class. Once the enemy has been decided, the situation will be explained and explored for the rest of the class and I will send the student some additional abilities they will have for the fight to make it challenging and interesting. We will then roll for initiative- the in-game version of deciding who goes when in the combat and each student will be encouraged to determine if they want to...
This class is taught in English.
Students will be challenged to think quickly in fast-paced situations, to work on their impromptu speaking skills, and to develop their problem solving skills in a difficult situation.
A level 5 D&D character, notebook or paper for notes, and a pen/paper if desired.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There is an element of 'violence' in Dungeons and Dragons as the game does rely on combat and fighting in the game. The descriptions will be toned down from the adult version of the story and will remain PG at all times.
