In this one-time class, learners will explore the history of Titanic's sister ship, the Britannic.

Students will learn all about the final ship in the Olympic class of ocean liners built by the White Star Line. The Britannic was Titanic's sister ship and was meant to have an identical design. Students will learn that the Britannic was not used as a passenger ship but was used by the British government as a hospital ship during World War I. The loss of life on Titanic will briefly be mentioned. Any discussions will be kept at an age appropriate level.
