Welcome to Waldorfunn Math class! At Waldorfunn Math, we don't just do math... we experience numbers in an artful and meaningful way. Through a fantastic numeral story, the learner will be taken on a mathematical adventure... The numbers will transform through simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Children will help the characters in our story solve their riddles with mathematical sentences. The child will enjoy hearing the story and drawing along the mathematical...

Week 1Lesson 1Everyone is laying eggsLong Addition We will do a lot of additions... We will learn to write number sentences horizontally. We will learn one vertical one digit addition and introduction to two digits addition with carry over.Lesson 2Gathering and finding all the eggsMultiplication madness We will play with our times table from 1 to 12 ( smaller number 0f 12) We will write sentence number horizontally and vertically.Lesson 3Is there enough nest?Fair Division Introduction to the concepts of division...reverse from multiplication. Homework Offered
I will ask students to finish up their work and post it on the class chat for me to see and comment. Optionally, I will offer the children one more exercise to perform and share. The exercise will be one more practice of the four mathematical operations to draw and write. This exercise should take about 10 to 20 minutes to complete.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
