The students will learn and be directed closely on: 

Lip Control: Basic techniques for controlling lip movement to speak without moving lips visibly.

Puppet Manipulation: Introduction to puppet handling, including basic movements, gestures, and expressions to bring the puppet to life.

Voice Modulation: Simple techniques for altering voice pitch and tone to create different character voices.

Interactive Activities: Engaging exercises and games to practice speaking without lip movement and puppet interaction.

The focus of this brief session would be to introduce the fundamental concepts of ventriloquism and provide hands-on experience to ignite interest and enthusiasm for further learning in this art form. 

I am a speaker who entertains at  assemblies that are designed to inspire and engage students, while promoting a love for reading, writing, and language arts. 

Through my interactive approach, I encourage students to apply their creative knowledge and develop their puppetry skills with confidence. 

By sharing my passion for creating and storytelling, I inspire students to unlock their creativity and discover their voice.

I am a certified teacher k-8, a certified speaker, and just plain SILLY! 

Homework Offered
Students practice time will be assigned to them.  The homework will be emailed and different for each student depending on which skill they mastered in the class.  
Some homework may be: practice saying ... with your puppet. Practice moving the neck. etc.
