In this one time, 55 minute course, learners will be immersed in the fascinating world of spies and secret agents! This class offers a fun and inclusive look into real historical figures and events involving espionage. The class will follow a slideshow format and will include pictures, video clips, class discussion and interaction, and code deciphering. The students will learn about disguises, gadgets, and secret codes that have been used throughout history. Students will learn about the people, situations, world affairs, events, and wars surrounding such events.

The learner will receive an informal assessment based on class participation.Grades Offered
Students should bring a 'spy disguise' to class to show off during the lesson. This can be a hat, glasses, wig, etc. Students also may want a pencil and paper to take notes and also to take note of the secret symbols (images) hidden throughout the lesson.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
This class involves espionage and spying, which often happens in relation to political events and wars. While I will not dive into the specifics or violent aspects of war, it is necessary to mention what war is related to the event. It may also be necessary to give some details about the different wars, such as the parties involved.
