In this Summer Camp, Artist A Day will hold the attention of any youngster. Students will learn art from Wassily Kandinsky, Kieth Haring, Romero Britto and Piet Mondrian. At the same time, students will have fun learning how to use watercolor paints, color resist techniques, color schemes, different types of lines and much more. BUT this camps isn't just the arts, students will have brain-breaks. Brain-Breaks are moments of movement with a stuffie (stuffed animals) workout, ABC exercise...

I have found, students love to create with simple and almost no materials. I have taught this lesson in my classroom and summer camps for over 15 years. Students love learning and creating animals. It's a fun and carefree class.
No homework unless the student wants to practice what was learned in class.
5 White paper (computer paper is great, 60lbs) Pencil Thicker Markers crayons or pastels Watercolor paints (NO tubes or liquid colors) brushes (thick and thin brush) colored pencils Black sharpie or Black marker
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Summer camps should be fun and spirited.
5 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
If learners are new or on the younger side, they may not help.
