Class experience
In this one time class, we will work together to learn the steps needed to create each portion of our adorable miniature Figurines. Different camera views will be used to show each step of the way. We will condition, cut, and form our pieces. Then we will assemble our body parts and get them prepared to be baked after class is over. Students should have some basic prior experience of working with Polymer clay.
Supplies: Polymer Bake Clay in a variety of colors (white, black, grey, purple, red, green) Basic Sculpting tools, cutting tool, smoothing tool, dotting tool (for eye sockets) A non stick surface to work on You may use Black Glass seed beads for eyes, otherwise black clay Black or Grey Permanent fine point marker (like a Sharpie) OPTIONAL: About 1" of metal wire or 1/2 toothpick for leaf umbrella (optional) Clear water-based Polyurethane or glaze for after baking (optional)
