It's Storytime with Author and comedian Brad Tassell. In this class we have a little magic, sing a song or two and Brad reads his book Billy Fustertag Learns Comedy. A sweet and funny story about an 8 year-old boy who is dying to be a comedian, but he finds out that takes a bit of work. There is a great character ed. lesson presented and a few jokes just perfect for the 6-8 set. 1. A silly little magic trick that goes wrong in the funniest way. 2. I wrote this book and it is based on a true experience in my life as a professionals comedian. I have been playing the ukulele for 20+ years. I also have a Masters in Behavioral Science and am considered an expert on bullying, with books, articles, and research published.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The Ernie song is about a student being mean and the other students turning and bullying the student back. The lesson is that we all need to not bully, and to fix bullying situations by getting help and not trying to hurt anyone else.
We will read, Billy Fustertag Learns Comedy, but there is no reason to buy or own the book. (I will autograph copies for anyone who wants them for $5.00 plus shipping, media mail)
