What parents are saying ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Mr. Scott's class was one of the best investments for my teen! Phenomenal teaching style and great presence. His delivery was clear and engaging. The concepts really stuck with my student. They will definitely take more classes in the fall to reinforce what was learned. Thank you for inspiring and connecting these real words concepts to young minds. Keep up your great work and efforts!" Bren, parent review. Join anytime! The best time to learn about current events is right now. Are you ready to dive into the exciting world of investing and financial markets? "Introduction to the Stock Market for Teens" is a comprehensive course designed to provide young minds with a solid foundation in understanding the stock market and its many facets.🌐 Each week we'll look at the market, discuss major ideas related to investing, and dialogue potential investing ideas. Whether you're brand new to the world of finance or already have some knowledge under your belt, this class is perfect for anyone eager to develop knowledge of the financial system and the various paths it offers for financial rewards. Example of topics to be discussed: 📈 Understanding Financial Markets 📊 The Basics of Equity Investing 🏭 Equity Investing - Sectors and Industries 📥 Mutual Funds and ETFs 💸 Dividends and Dividend Strategies 🔍 Evaluating Company Fundamentals - Fundamental Investing ⚖️ Understanding P/E, Multiples 🎢 How Much Can You Handle? - Risk Tolerance and the Beta Value 📉 The Super Number - Interest Rates and Everything ⛽ Gas in the Tank - Company Debt Levels and Debt Ratios 👵 You'll Grow Old Eventually - Retirement Planning and Investing 💵 They Pay You Back...Unless They Don't - Understanding Bonds and Fixed Income 🌱 The Power of Compound Growth 📡 Market Trends and Economic Indicators 🧠 The Role of Market Psychology 📜 IPO Basics and Public vs. Private Companies Class Policies 📚 Classes are taught as a combination lecture and discussion, encouraging student participation. 🗣️ This class teaches financial skills that are broadly applicable in various regions of the globe, where individuals have access to retail and commercial banking services and market or mixed economies. While an attempt will be made to explain ideas so all students can understand, hyper local examples and command based systems fall outside these financial skills. The course has an implicit bias that wealth accumulation is societally acceptable and for those enrolled an objective as it pertains to their personal finances. Specifically, this class recognizes the ability to lend money at interest as a core concept within the financial world. It represents the importance of individuals being able to accumulate private property to pursue financial independence. Late arrivals will be admitted at the discretion of Mr. Scott. ⏰ Disclaimer: Educational Purposes Only This course is designed solely for educational purposes and does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The instructor provides information on how financial markets, investing strategies, and economic principles work but does not make recommendations regarding specific investment decisions. Any trading or investing activities, including the use of real money, are at the sole discretion of students and their families. No financial outcome is guaranteed. Participants are strongly encouraged to conduct their own research and consult with a qualified financial professional before making any financial decisions. By enrolling in this course, you acknowledge that all investment decisions carry risk, and the instructor and course provider are not responsible for any financial outcomes resulting from your personal investment choices.
