Reading Comprehension Goals:
-Understanding Story Elements: By the end of the course, students will be able to identify and explain key story elements such as characters, setting, plot, and theme in Halloween-themed stories.
-Making Predictions: Students will develop the ability to make predictions about what might happen next in a story, based on the information presented in the text.
-Summarizing: Students will practice summarizing the main events and ideas from the stories we read, demonstrating an understanding of the text's central message.
-Vocabulary Development: Throughout the course, students will expand their Halloween-themed vocabulary, learning new words and their meanings in context.

Writing Goals:
-Descriptive Writing: Through Halloween-themed activities, students will practice using descriptive language to vividly describe characters, settings, and events in their writing.
-Creative Expression: By participating in Halloween-themed  activities, students will be encouraged to express their creativity through writing, explaining the creative choices they make.
