Each class, we will look at various real-life business negotiation cases and discuss how to master the situation. Students will gain skills in critical thinking, math, numbers, verbal communication and economics as they learn how to apply these skills to their everyday life. Students will be encouraged to connect to real-life examples of the concepts discussed in class. This is a discussion-based class that helps students build communication skills while having fun and making friends. Week of October 3rd - Negotiate successfully from a position of weakness Week of October 10th - Defuse threats, ultimatums, lies, and other hardball tactics Week of October 17th - Negotiate ethically and create trusting relationships—along with great deals Week of October 24th - Recognize when the best move is to walk away…And much, much more
