Class Experience

In this one time class we will create bunnies out of socks while practicing our Spanish conversational skills. The class will be taught completely in Spanish with the purpose of giving learners a chance to use their Spanish skills while we create a fun craft together. This class is best suited for students with previous knowledge of the Spanish language as the focus of the language aspect of the class will be to practice conversation and following directions while being guided step by step on how to create our sock bunnies out of a recycled sock. No sewing skills required.

**Please review supply list before class**

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello, my name is Dee! I believe learning should be a positive experience and that is what I strive for in every one of my classes. I have a wide variety of topics I love teaching about - from arts and crafts, cooking and Spanish!

I was born in Mexico and moved to Canada when I was 12 years old. I usually try to visit Mexico once a year because I enjoy so many things about it, especially the food. I can also read, speak and write fluent Spanish. I have a diploma in Business Administration with a major in Accounting and I also hold a TESOL certificate.

When I am not teaching, I am spending time with my husband Mitch, and our two daughters, Victoria and Isabel. Fun fact: Victoria and Isabel have a 13 year age gap! We also have a sweet chihuahua named Bella. Our family enjoys doing a lot of activities together such as cooking, crafting, camping/hiking and planning our next travel adventure. We backpacked across Europe a few years ago and we are currently planning our next backpacking trip.

Let's have fun learning together!
