Spanish Beginner Course: How to Describe Physical Appearance in Spanish. Part I (Beginner Edition)

ABOUT THE CLASS
Physical adjectives or adjetivos físicos are describing words that illustrate physical attributes or characteristics of people. You use these words when you’re telling your barber what type of haircut you want, describing your friends to your parents, or even discussing the traits of your favorite fictional characters. Physical adjectives in Spanish also let you work around words you might not know yet. For example, if you don’t know how to say “my grandpa is almost 89 years old” in Spanish, you can say something simpler instead, like:
Mi abuelo es viejo/ My grandpa is old. Want to take your description abilities a step further? Check out this 30-minute class. In this 30- minute class, students learn how to describe themselves and others in the Spanish language! This class has several multi-day so you can register in all of them.

Class material is reviewed through play-acting, drawing, and interactive games! Lessons include audiovisuals, literature, quizzes and songs. Throughout the presentation, there are several interactive partner activities to encourage students to use the language.

All lesson and homework materials will be provided by the course instructor. Students will have access to the course syllabus once enrolled. The instructor also will post video recordings about the new topics, it will help the students to remember and practice what they learned in every class.

ABOUT THE SERIES:
Our Beginning Spanish Program is an introduction to the Spanish language. Each week we cover a new theme so students learn new Spanish vocabulary with fun engaging games and hands-on activities, and practice basic conversational Spanish to communicate with each other. With repetition of these activities, the students develop their confidence in speaking the Spanish language. This program is appropriate for students who have little to no experience in Spanish.

The Español Latino curriculum is designed for students who do not yet speak Spanish with students who are already speaking in simple sentences on a variety of topics. Our curriculum is the perfect introduction for new students. Each series includes 12 high-quality, beautifully illustrated units for teachers to use in class for levels A1 - C2.
