Finding friends and socializing doesn't need to feel like a chore, but sometimes it does. Here, you'll find a space created for elementary aged girls to come together and build friendships. There will be time for sharing stories, adventures, and laughs. This is not a class about listening to the teacher. It is a learner-directed space. However, prompts, stories, and activities will be shared to kick-start conversation. The Goal: This class is for the girls to practice: expressing themselves clearly, sharing ideas respectfully, and laughing with new friends. This class is open to all but is recommended for girls seeking engagement with their peers.

I'm Tiffany. I encourage students to read for enjoyment and to get into the practice of challenging themselves to explore topics they enjoy through literature so that learning is well-rounded, relevant, and fun.
I have experience teaching in the USA through AmeriCorps and teaching English abroad in Europe {Prague}. Also, I spent several years working professionally as a chemist (toxicology, food science, molecular biology, analytical chemistry labs) before leaving my job to become a home educator and digital creator.
