In this class we will be learning how to play three different single player card games using only a deck of cards. Each game will be introduced and while I show learners how to set up and play the game. Learners will have an opportunity to play a round by themselves before we move on to the next game to make sure they understand how to play. Learners will be able to ask questions while they are playing their practice game as well. At the end learners will share their favorite single player card game from class. By the end of class learners will have a few extra ways to entertain themselves using just a deck of playing cards! There is no prior knowledge or experience required for this class.

I am excited to be teaching a variety of music, nature and life skill classes! I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and have worked with children in various capacities since I was in grade school. I have worked in daycare centers around the world and have started my own preschool at home. I have worked in schools as a teachers assistant in several preschool, kindergarten and elementary school classes, helping manage classrooms and create curriculums. I have also taught students online ages 5-18 English, music and life skills classes. I value creativity and kindness and hope to share that in each of my classes.
