Learn English as native speakers do! In this small group of 5 learners max, everyone gets their turn. English beginners enjoy interactive songs, rhymes, games, and sharing time — led by a caring, ukulele-playing teacher.

Class experience

This class sets a positive association with speaking and reading in English. After 6-weeks of attendance, learners will 1) be comfortable using the words, phrases, and concepts they have learned in class and 2) have established the habit of reading one book a day.
> ESL
Ms. Christina began her career as an English teacher in Taiwan.
> EARLY LITERACY
Later, she worked for seven years in the children's department of a public library with a focus on Early Literacy and multilingual programming.
> EDUCATION
Ms. Christina has a Bachelor of Arts degree in INTERNATIONAL POLITICS and GERMAN.
She has a Master of Arts degree in INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS with a language focus on MANDARIN CHINESE.
Learners should bring something to shake (maraca, shaky egg, or anything that makes a shaky sound) and a book they love — any book in any language.

Note Regarding YouTube:
I never use YouTube during class — all music in class is played live by me on the ukulele or xylophone. The YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/singrhymeandplaywithmschristina, is available for your use before and/or after class, in the event you would like to preview and/or review course content. You do not need an account to watch the videos.
Students may preview and review Ms. Christina's educational content on her YouTube channel, "Sing, Rhyme, and Play with Ms. Christina," www.youtube.com/singrhymeandplaywithmschristina.
