Class experience
Live with the instructor, learners and caregivers together will use paint to explore music and emotion in this one time sight and sound class. Learners will be introduced to words like bursh stroke, dab, line, swirl, zig zag, and tempo. Learners will first be introduced to these elements separately and then we will combine these elements as we listen to different pieces of music. This sensory activity is exploratory and while 'finished' art work is a nice outcome, it will not be our focus.
1 file available upon enrollmentPlease have a watercolour paint palette (found at walmart, Walgreens, and craft/hobby stores) and a pad of paper - printer paper will suffice but you will want about 8 sheets or more. Learners should also have a plastic dish of water for dipping their brushes - younger learners may need some supervision during class if they love waterplay. You are encouraged to use a placement or drop cloth under your work area for easy clean up.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parents/Caregivers will want to ensure that an area for their learner to work with paint. Paint clothes or a smock are recommended at your discretion.
