Description

Students will grow as writers! They will practice planning and writing across genres. They will learn plot basics. They will practice sounding out words using phonics-based spelling and using conventions including spacing, capitalization, and punctuation. They will have the opportunity to share and receive writing feedback.
Learners are expected to bring something to share each week (see themes above). They may not complete their writing in class and may choose to keep working on it afterwards!
35 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
