This phonics writing class is based on activities students love in my reading classes. We’ll review phonics sounds, but instead of reading and spelling games, we’ll write sentences. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by just how much students love writing sentences with the target sounds. We’ll also review grammar and spelling in a warm-up activity where we correct sentences together. Each week students will receive Boom Cards to review vocabulary with the target sounds. Each week students get Boom Cards to the review words with the target sounds. They also get writing worksheets to write their own sentences. These activities are optional. Although these activities are optional, I love hearing and reading learners' creative writing, so please share your favorite sentences with me from the worksheets.Assessments Offered
