Description
Class Experience
Prior to the start of class, students will have to collect materials to build their robot. Ideas include, but are not limited to: cut out barcodes, plastic spoons, cardboard, tin foil, milk cartons. At the beginning of class, we will sort our recycled materials into categories and discuss their differences. The concept of recycling, planning, creative building, safety when picking up garbage and walking along streets
Materials to be recycled as components of a robot, glue (if a hot glue gun, students will need to be supervised closely during class), scissors, tape
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parent supervision is required if student is using a hot glue gun.
