Class Experience

In the Raspberry Pi Builder's Club Learners will create and share their own Raspberry Pi projects, solutions, tips, and tricks. Each week we will discuss and learn about integrating the Raspberry Pi with electronics, robotics, coding and more.

Each week Learners will dictate the direction of the discussion by bringing their questions about the Raspberry Pi, components and techniques to share with other Learners as well as talk about cool projects that they are currently working on.

I will prepare materials which include lectures, slides, live demonstrations, and pre-recorded video clips. The Learners will participate in an interactive discussion centered on the weekly topic. While there are no prerequisites for this class, it may be helpful for the Learners to complete one of my Raspberry Pi classes prior to joining the club.

I urge learners to come to each session prepared to have fun, ask questions, and learn new and exciting things about how to incorporate the Raspberry Pi into their projects.

Here is an example of a typical class structure:

- Meet & greet
- Lecture on current topic (may include slides, video clips, live video demonstrations, etc.)
- Interactive discussion on weekly topic
- Final questions and answers
- Dismissal

Learning Goals

Learners will increase their knowledge and understanding the Raspberry Pi and develop the confidence to integrate this device into their own projects.

Although not required, It may be beneficial to obtain a Raspberry Pi prior to attending your first online meeting. If you are unsure what to buy, simply signup and join the club. We will help you with decide which device to purchase.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
