Preschool Drum Lessons
In this weekly 1-1 class students will learn the basics of drumming such as reading rhythms and playing beats while also playing fun games.
In these one-to-one lessons I will meet students wherever they are on their percussion journey. For preschoolers, we will focus on reading rhythms such as quarter notes, quarter rests, 8th notes, half notes, and more. We will cover dynamics like forte and piano, how to read music, distinguishing our right from our left hand, and how to hold the drum sticks properly. Homework OfferedEach week I will post a worksheet/rhythm sheet for students to practice.
