Class Experience
Gotta Catch Em' All!! Learners will work together as a team to catch all the Pokémons by solving math problems. If they solve the problems correctly, they will catch a pokemon. In the end, learners will earn a BADGE for a specific Math skill in each class. Come join us to become a Pokémon math master in the world! We’ll explore two types of word problems, whole & part, and comparison. Calculations will involve addition & subtraction within 20, using the Singapore bar models. The content...
Students will get an introduction to the bar models and gain an understanding of solving word problems.
Paper, pencil, and erasers.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
