Welcome to Pete & Math! In this One-Time Course, your learner will be exploring an introduction to subtraction through the popular story Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons, by Eric Litwin. After reading & engaging in our story, students will have an introduction to the skill of subtraction. They'll become familiar with a few subtraction terms like minuend, subtrahend, outcome & more helping them to understand that subtraction means to take away or "make smaller". We'll do lots of...
Students will increase their knowledge of Subtraction through practice.
I am a certified K-6 elementary teacher with a minor in Mathematics. I have experience teaching K-10th grade Math and K-6 Music.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
