Class Experience

"This is Dash.  Dash is a chameleon.  Can you find him hiding among the numbers?"

This fun class we will be doing an interactive reading of the book "Numbers with Dash." Dash likes to hide among the different number objects, and we need help finding him! We will also be counting the amount of objects on each page and recognizing the numeral that goes with the numbers, covering 1-10. 

This book reading is pretty interactive.  We will be counting together, as I circle the items on the screen...

The goal of this class is to help preschool aged children to learn to count and be more familiar with numbers.

I am a mom of 2 kids aged 3-5.  I also have my undergrad degree in Family, Consumer, and Human Development where some of my courses dealt with Child Development and learning.

20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
