In this class, we will read and discuss a news article each week based on current affairs! Learners will improve reading comprehension and other reading skills and participate in discussions and debates (ESL friendly) #superstar
Class experience
Each class will be centred around a recent news article! Topics will vary each week and may include: science, animals, geography, technology and more! We will start the class by introducing background knowledge that may be useful for the context of the article, guiding questions may also be asked to promote discussion about the topic. Learners will be introduced to any specific vocabulary they may encounter in the article. While reading the article learners will improve their English...
