Are you interested in Chinese? Chinese has a reputation for being hard for English speakers to learn. It's difficult to memorize and write Chinese characters for a child who has never experienced Chinese. The goal of this class is to bring children into the Chinese world comfortably. They will learn how ancient Chinese characters were created. After this class, Kids will have learned some basic Chinese characters, I would love to see that the children find an easy way to learn Chinese. During this class, children will learn words like 人,水,土...etc. They will learn the pronunciation of the Chinese words. They also will learn how to write the words. This class will primarily be presented in PowerPoint format. Kids will write down the characters after my explanation and learn how to pronounce them. At the end of this lesson, we will play a blooklet game. Kids are encouraged to ask questions. Teacher Zenta likes to interact with kids. With a small class size, each child will receive individualized attention. After this class, kids will get a practice sheet with all the characters we've learned in class. Practice makes perfect! ***This class could possibly go over 40 minutes.***

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi, My name is Zenta, I am a native Mandarin speaker, and I grew up in Taiwan. I have successfully completed a 102-hour teaching Chinese as a second language program in 2009 at National Taiwan University, I love teaching Chinese. Since my major is German, I realize that it is important to speak out when learning a new language. I have studied English and a little French and Japanese to enrich more cultural knowledge of different countries.
