Class Experience

Hello Learners! Join me for exciting new Mandarin lessons each week. In this class students will learn very basic Mandarin that includes learning to write, socialization, numbers, basic addition, basic subtraction, and so much more in a fun and engaging way.

Every class will start out with meeting time/Calendar time.
We will learn new words and new phrases each week.

-This class is for beginner level Mandarin.
-No Mandarin experience is needed for this class.
-I will teach your student how to pronounce words with the correct tones.
-After the lesson, the learners and I will use what they have learned to carry on a simple conversation.
-We draw simple art or play games to review words and phrases learned in class.

Weekly schedule:
Day 1 - writing (please bring the various supplies needed to make these lessons fun and sensory oriented)
Day 2 - color (please bring paper and something to draw with)
Day 3 - numbers (please bring something to count with)
Day 4 - my world (putting it all together along with new vocabulary)

Students may join at any time, but classes do build on each other. If your child has been exposed to Mandarin before, went through a Chinese immersion school or speak Chinese at home, this class may be too easy for them. The curriculum is for preschoolers to kindergartners in Chinese schools.

I look forward to being your learner's Mandarin teacher.
